Top 10 Best Movies Of all time

While there is no general agreement upon the greatest film, but here are the films that are considered to be best.Determining the ten best films ensembles of the last two decade was a much harder list to narrow down than I originally anticipated.  To create a list like this, I tried to focus on movies where care was taken by best directing skills, great acting, cast, story. The choices below reflect not just the divergent tastes of myself but also the remarkable variety of quality films released.
Great movies usually have a few things in common. First of all, as far as I am concerned, I enjoy movies that have great performance, a storyline that grip your imagination and that defining moment of watching the film that captures your heart and lives in your soul. Secondly, great movies are not only entertaining but they somehow manage to carve themselves in your memory. And thirdly, great movies can be seen over and over again, without getting old and have some magic moments that made them ageless.
Movies are picked from last two and a half Decade.
so, here are the top ten best movies of all time.

10.

Shutter island is a surprising, flawed, gorgeous and interesting movie that you definitely need to see at least twice. Certainly it’s not a horror film, nor a drama, nor is it truly a mystery. “Shutter Island,” the film from Academy Award Winning Director Martin Scorsese, is really best described as a long walk for a short drink of water, or in Shutter’s case, a simple and less than satisfying ending. Shutter island is based on the 2003 novel of the same name by author Dennis Lehane, who is best known for his Boston area mystery/dramas, Mystic River and Gone Baby Gone. The film's biggest downfall is that it was simply too for the message it had.The silly twist ending is supremely exasperating .However,I admit everything looks good and fits togather, and the film packs a fair-sized punch. With a decorated cast of Leonardo Dicaprio,Mark Ruffalo,Ben Kingsley and Michelle Williams made the film more awesome.

9.

Good Will Hunting is undoubtedly Damon's film (he must owe Affleck big for taking the supporting role) and his carrier breakthrough. His restless energy effectively forces the audience to embrace Will warts and all.The story here is equal parts redemption story, romantic drama and story about growing up and growing comfortable with oneself. Will, almost inevitably, attract legal trouble and, as an out, is offered weekly math session and therapy. He accepts, with resistance, and goes through a series of therapists until he meet the one who won’t give up, Sean McGuire (Robin Williams). The Oscar winning script by Damon and Affleck is, in reality, rather basic but heartbreaking. It was directed by Gus Van Sant with fair cast of Matt Damon, Ben Affleck, great acting by Robin Williams see the park scene, simply unforgettable. All said “Good Will Hunting” is entertaining, mildly amusing and somewhat touching. Definitely not for children. A possible choice for adults.

8.

Now there's David O Russell’s The Fighter, in which Mark Wahlberg plays "Irish" Micky Ward, who was still taking serious punishment when Mann's biopic was released. The Fighter is based on the true story of 1990s welterweight boxer and perennial underdog Micky Ward and his crazy ex-fighter brother Dicky, played by Christian Bale, and yes of course, it finishes with a short and faintly smug video clip of the real brothers themselves. The most notable thing about ‘The Fighter’ is its extreme and at times offputting diversity of acting styles: Wahlberg holds himself back as the quiet man at the eye of the storm, but  Bale’s twitchy, tweaked-out crackhead is as out-there a character as he’s ever portrayed, while both Leo and Amy Adams are on full scenery-chewing form as the sharp-tongued, mad-haired, leopard-print-clad women who rule Mickey’s life. This is a frighteningly funny, oddly touching movie that never flinches from or attempts to sentimentalize the grotesquely embarrassing Dicky or to turn Micky into a liberated spirit. In the end, the real blow from The Fighter comes from Bale's performance, and no amount of Everlast red padding can dull when it hits you. It is truly a performance that makes the whole rest of the film worthwhile.

7.

Sherlock Holmes, the film that redefines the genre of Detective movies, Opens near the end of a case of Sherlock Holmes and his good friend Dr. John Watson. During their infiltration of the villain’s hideout we see Holmes mentally planning an attack from start to finish and when it takes place exactly as described we marvel, and not for the last time, at the incredible intellect of Detective Sherlock Holmes. There’s an eccentric touch in the end credits for Sherlock Holmes. They’re beautifully done, awesomely-framing all the preceding mayhem into graceful graphic stills, credited to “the late Sir Arthur Conan Doyle” for his great stories. Doyle might have wondered what mad century he’d stepped into.
All said “Sherlock Holmes” is a terrific movie to watch……a must watch movie before you die!

6.

Fight Club will blow your lap up and I guaranteed about it.
Edward Norton gives a compulsively restless, nerdy, hollow-eyed performance as Narrator: a 30-year-old single guy with a white collar job in the automotive industry and a secret addiction; he loves attending support groups posing as a sufferer. Hilariously, this is the only thing that gives him an emotional high. "Fight Club" derives from a novel by trendy author Chuck Palahniuk, whose book actually has a stranger, more downbeat ending than the movie.
But,the movie was great, every thing looks perfect,Fight Club is a movie that exactly caught the premillennial tension. Great performances, stunning visuals and a plot like nothing you've ever seen - one of the films of the year.

5.

do i need to review this movie ? i think name is enough !

4.

The Dark knight Rises, year 2012's most anticipated movie. It's truly the end of an era as the final film in Christopher Nolan's Dark Knight Trilogy end's. The strength and beauty of this movie is eternal ,you can't compare it.The movie starts with Gordon's speech then an epic scene of Bane's plane hijacking. For eight years, the lie seemed to work. Harsh Laws were enacted, purging Gotham of much of it's crime and Batman went into hiding. Then the lie spawned something else in the darkness, an army of a masked man of boundless strength and no pity determined to eat the city alive.Bane breaks his(batman) back and take Gotham into darkness until The Dark Knight Rises.  movie shows an unforgettable ending, ending that will take your breath away. and if you don't like super hero movie, just watch the trailer.

3.

Saving Private Ryan is shattering. There is no other word to describe it.  The opening scene is so realistic, intensify and  the most believably shocking combat sequences ever seen. The brilliant direction of Steven Spielberg and cinematography of Janusz Kaminski puts you right there on the beach, don't have word to describe it.
The plot, concerns a mission to find and bring home a Private James Ryan whose 3 brothers have been killed in war. Film follows John H. Miller(as Tom Hanks) a United States Army Rangers Captain and his squad (as Tom SizemoreEdward BurnsBarry PepperVin DieselGiovanni RibisiAdam Goldberg and Jeremy Davies) saving private Ryan in the midst of the French landings.
My Verdict,Saving Private Ryan is a inflexible and powerful war movie that i personally recommend.

2.

The Dark Knight,I thought good movies were made in past until i saw The Dark Knight.
The Dark Knight is Dark complex and Unforgettable which succeed not just as an entertaining comic book movie, but as a awesome, thrilling crime masterpiece.
Heath Ledger’s performance as Joker is that in a way, you’ll almost find yourself rooting for him to win. Let him Burn down the Gotham, introducing chaos everywhere. Ledger’s Joker is easily the best on screen villain you have ever seen, past or present, simply unforgettable, outshines the Batman in the movie.
The reason why i Don't choose Dark Knight number one is it's ending is a little disappointing.
Now, I don't think that you need my opinion to watch this film in case you need......all said greatest movie ever made.

1.

Inception, another masterpiece of  Christopher Nolan's brilliance.
Never seen so many plot overlapping each other and finally each and every plot superimposed each other to give us a great climax. There is no way how any one of these movies are great than Inception, not even close.
It was as interesting as it was confusing(for most of the viewers) but that's a good thing in this type of movie. Perfect shot, Great acting, best plot ever seen. Verdict : An awesome movie, not just awesome or good or excellent but the movie is a classic even though it's few year old. After watching this movie all you got to say, Oh My God!...this is my favorite movie.
